THE ROSE BRUCIA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION TO HOLD STRANGER SAFETY PUPPET SHOW AT ADVENTURELAND

ISLANDIA, NY – SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 — The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation will hold a free Stranger Safety Puppet Show on Saturday, October 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Adventureland Amusement Park located at 2245 Route 110, Farmingdale, NY.

The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation’s Stranger Safety Puppet Show is an informative program that utilizes puppetry to focus on simple, realistic tips for children to educate and empower young minds. Available to elementary schools free of charge, the Foundation presents two 10 minute puppet shows that include a brief, live action self-defense demonstration and awareness activity.

The child safety presentation specializes in packing vital information into a short series of segments. The self-defense portion of the program consists of a non-threatening, live demonstration to improve awareness skills and provides a safe, easy-to-use, self-defense move for children to use in the event they are faced with danger.

This event is open to public. Puppet show is free and geared toward school-aged children from pre-k through grade 4. Free stranger safety coloring/activity books will be distributed to the first 500 children in attendance. Rides are open at regular prices. For more information, please call 631.234.4667 or visit www.rosebrucia.org.

About The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation
