Mr. Barbis� business career concentration is on personal
income tax preparation and providing financial education
for his clientele of individuals and Fortune 500 companies.
His staff is also dedicated to continual education with tax-related
matters, and strives to deliver each client with the highest
level of service available in the tax preparation world.
Matthew J. Barbis graduated from St. Joseph�s College, earning a bachelor�s
degree in business administration. He has earned New York
State Certificates in Leadership and Supervision, and Management
and is currently finishing his Master�s Degree at The College
For Financial Planning. Matthew�s professional affiliation
is with The National Association of Tax Professionals. In
sharing his expertise with others, Matthew personally conducts
the firm�s employee education workshops for leading corporations
along the Eastern seaboard of the United States.
Additionally, Matt Barbis serves as Chairman for The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is working to reduce the number of child abductions in America. The Foundation teaches stranger safety to elementary school-aged children through the use of puppets and a live self-defense demonstration.
Matt volunteers for Island Harvest; bringing food back to distribution centers for disbursement to families during the holiday season and also continues to serve as an executive board member for The St. Joseph’s College Alumni Association in Patchogue, New York.
